Certificate attestation is the process of verifying the authenticity of a document by having it certified by an authorized person, government department, or authority. This process is often required for documents such as educational certificates, marriage certificates, birth certificates, and other personal or professional documents when they need to be used in a foreign country. The attestation process typically involves multiple steps, including notarization, attestation by relevant government departments, and, in some cases, legalization by the embassy or consulate of the destination country. Certificate attestation ensures that the document is recognized as genuine and valid in the foreign country.
